ARMENIA MARRIOTT HOTEL
Marriott International and its Boston-based, American Armenian investor group selected CM Communications to handle the launch of the five-star Armenia Marriott Hotel, following a $42 million historic restoration. Working in collaboration with the Armenian Tourism Development Agency and Lufthansa, the agency spearheaded a major tourism initiative including an inaugural press familiarization trip for 30 top-tier American journalists. PR strategy focused on generating media coverage for Armenia as an accessible and undiscovered destination for cultural travelers while highlighting the Armenia Marriott has the country’s only world-class branded hotel.
Marriott Hotel public relations initiatives resulted in numerous placements, including a major feature story distributed through Copley News Service. Additionally, editorials ran in national business, real estate and travel trade media, raising visiblity for the hotel among prospective investors.
